We find ourselves drawn to the optimism of modernism, to clean lines and flowing spaces, yet style is not what makes a building good or bad.

Great buildings, constructed in a variety of styles, share a unique sense of space, a logic, and an inspiration, that goes far beyond any handbook of style.

More important than style to us is our relationship with our clients. Understanding both the practical and emotional desires of individuals allows our work to be much richer and more varied.

U.S. Green Building Council MemberWe are happy to announce that our first LEED for Homes project is nearing completion of construction. LEED stands for “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design,” and the LEED rating system, which has been in place for years for commercial projects, is administrated by the US Green Building Council. We are proud to have been chosen for the pilot program of the expansion of the LEED rating system into single family homes. We are also proud to announce that we are now in design on our second LEED for Homes project.

Architect, Kyle Moss, AIA, LEED AP, is accredited by the US Green Building Council as a green building professional, and as firm principal is leading our effort to be ever more conscious of our environmental impact.

Established in 2001, yet with ties to a much greater history. Levitt + Moss was created after closure of the firm of Harold W. Levitt and Associates, when Mr. Levitt retired at age 79. Kyle Moss, who had worked for Harold Levitt as Associate Architect, established Levitt + Moss as a new and independent firm. We remain indebted to Harold Levitt for the knowledge and philosophies that have been passed down through him. Read more about Harold Levitt and view photo archives.
